Sally R. Langston, 92, of Covington, passed away Sunday morning, June 18, 2023, at Piqua Manor. She was born February 18, 1931 in Cincinnati, and lived in Covington since the age of three. Sally graduated from Covington High School, Class of 1949, attended Miami University and worked at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base prior to her marriage. On September 18, 1951 she married Keith H. Langston, and they shared life for over 60 years until his death in on November 18, 2011. Sally was also preceded in death by her parents, Hugh D. and Grace (Rench) Reynolds, and sister Marjorie Michael.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Kristine & Mark Enderle of Covington and Karen & David Doseck of Covington; seven grandchildren, Shelly & Beener Wood of Bradford, Jen Kearney and partner Trevor Davies of Columbus, Sara & Matt Westfall of Pleasant Hill, Emily Enderle and husband Sean Babington of Washington, D.C., Kristina & Fernando Maldonado of Black Mountain, NC, Paul Doseck of Huntsville, Ala., Audrey & Andy Bonar of Springfield; 12 great-grandchildren, Trey & Holly Stewart, Jake & Lauren Stewart, Keegan Kearney, Jasa Westfall, Nando Maldonado, Eva Maldonado, Rosalia Maldonado, Pearce Babington, Brooks Babington, Lucas Bonar, Grace Bonar & Nora Bonar; and six great-great-grandchildren, Liam McCormick, Juliet Stewart, Luke Stewart, Emily Stewart, Everett Stewart & Braxton Green.
Sally was a longtime member of Covington Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School, Bible School, sang in the choir, and served many years as a Deacon.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, at Covington Presbyterian Church, 30 N. Pearl St., Covington, with Pastor Greg Kurtz officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10-11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Covington Presbyterian Church, Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
