The Darke County Animal Shelter has 7 new dogs available for adoption.
They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645.
Becca came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Becca is a 3-year-old, female Lab Mix. Becca is a very loving girl who just wants all of your attention! Becca has shown us she knows how sit and loves treats! Becca walks well on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Becca did great for her bath, nail trim and exam where she weighed in at 84 lbs.Blondie came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Blondie is a 5-year-old, female Terrier Mix. Blondie has shown us she knows how sit and loves treats! Blondie is a very sweet girl. Blondie walks well on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Blondie did great for her bath, nail trim and exam where she weighed in at 39 lbsCami came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Cami is a 2-Year-old female Lab Mix. Cami is a happy Girl who loves attention. Cami has shown us she knows how to sit, shake and loves treat! Cami learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Cami did great for her bath, nail trim and exam where she weighed in at 60.8lbs Diamond came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Diamond is a 4-Year-old female Terrier Mix. Diamond is a happy Girl who loves attention. Diamond has visited with 2-year-old little boy, and they did great together. She also has done a meet and great with a puppy and she did great with that dog. Diamond has shown us she knows how to sit, laydown and like treats! Diamond learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Diamond did great for her bath, nail trim and exam where she weighed in at 50lbsKnuckles came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Knuckles is a 1-year-old, intact male Heeler Mix. Knuckles has shown us that he knows how to sit, loves treats and attentions! Knuckles is super friendly boy who acts like he has never met a stranger a day in his life. Knuckles learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Knuckles did great for his bath, nail trim and exam where he weighs in at 32 lbs.Lamb Chop came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Lamb Chop is a 4-year-old, intact male Alaskan Malamute Mix. Lamb Chop is very sweet boy. Lamb Chop learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Lamb Chop did great for nail trim and exam where he weighs in at 55lbs. Tarra came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Tarra is a 1 1/2-Year-old female Terrier Mix. Tarra has shown us she knows how to sit and like treats! Tarra loves to play ball and tug-a-war. Tarra learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Tarra did great for nail trim and exam where she weighed in at 49 lbs
