Sharon J. (Long) Frech-Pease, 75, of New Madison, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at her home.
She was born on March 19, 1946, in Darke County, to the late Smith and Dorothy (Inloe) Long.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her first husband, James Frech, and her second husband, Kenny Pease.
Sharon was a 1964 graduate of New Madison High School. She cared for others, serving as a nurse at Vancrest Nursing Home in Eaton, Ohio. She attended Harrison Street Baptist Church in New Madison. Sharon loved her family and enjoyed gatherings with both immediate and extended family members. Back in the day, she enjoyed the dancing and music at The Steel Butt Party Barn in New Madison. She will be missed by many family, friends, and most definitely by her dog Joplin and her cat Kallie.
Sharon is survived by her children, Jeff (Michele) Frech of New Paris, Ohio, Joe (Erinn) Frech of New Madison, Stacey (Tim) Smith of Richmond, Indiana, Amanda (Shane Hicks) Pease of New Madison, Matt (Kelly) Pease of Eaton, Ohio and Kevin (Samantha Miles) Pease of New Madison; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Erika) Frech, Katie (Shane Becraft) Frech, Jakob (Chloe Clark) Frech, Mariah Cramer, Kalana (Scott) Smith, Kayla (Tyler) Browning, Kirstin Pease and Emilee Frech; her great grandchildren, Landon, Payton and Jayson Frech, Jaxson Barnes, Harvey Becraft, Lilly Dingman, Noah and Maverick Smith and Waylon Browning; her siblings, Steve (Isabelle) Long, Cindy (Chas) Young and Smitty (Michelle) Long; as well as, many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A Celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at 11:30 AM, on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Cedar Grove Church, 373 Love Road, New Paris, Ohio 45347, with Pastor Kyle Herrmann officiating.
