Shirley Ann Young, age 88, of Greenville passed away at 1:20 pm Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.
Shirley was born March 28, 1936, in Arcanum to the late Ralph B. & Mildred (Via) Stutz. In addition to her parents, Shirely was also preceded in death by her husband, Billie D. “Bill” Young on February 18, 2007, whom she married June 7, 1958; and brother, Phillip Stutz.
Shirley is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Bret & Teri Young of Hamilton and Scott & Laura Young of Greenville; grandchildren, Nick Young of Hamilton, Pamela & Andrew Parrish of Troy, AJ & Jeremy McKinney of Columbus and John Bradley & Brittany Hathaway of new Madison; great grandchildren, Donnie, Faith, Zyan, Kailynn, Lillian, Colton, Caison, Hope and Canyon; sister-in-law, Judy Stutz of Arcanum; and nephews, Mike Stutz & family and Mark Stutz & family.
Shirley was a self-employed beautician for 34 years at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.
A private funeral service will be held at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Doug Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Fort Jefferson.
