Lamb, Stanley Melvin “Bud”, age 94, of Arcanum, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Saturday, September 17, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel & Mary Lamb & by a brother, Daniel.
He was a US Army veteran, and he worked many years at McCalls/Dayton Press. He also owned a residential trash route and he was very skilled at rebuilding motors and muscle cars. He then worked for Greg Neeley Construction and after retirement at A-1 Sprinkler. He also enjoyed spending time with family and playing golf. He loved woodworking and built many items for his home and family. The part of life dad was most proud of was his family. He never used a harsh word with his children and taught them, even when his pain was unbearable, that kindness was the best virtue a person could have.
His wife and children will miss him dearly.
Stanley is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 73 years, Mary; children, Pamela (Danny) Myers, Douglas (Sandy) Lamb, Debra (Rod) Sease, Kim (Gene) Young, Stanley, Jr., and Lisa (Alan) Hartzell; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren & 13 great-great-grandchildren.
At his request, a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please donate to EverHeart Hospice, 1350 N. Broadway, Greenville, OH 45331.
Arrangements are entrusted to Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304.
