Greenville Mayor Whitaker announced that Steve Willman was selected yesterday evening by the Greenville Republican Central Committee to fill the open At-Large Greenville City Council seat.
This seat was vacated by the recently selected City Council President Doug Schmidt earlier in the year.
Willman served the City as Mayor from September 2016 until his full term ended in December 2023.
Previously to that, he served briefly on City Council until he was appointed Mayor.
