The DLM Dream started with the official pre-race party on Wednesday, June 7, featuring local band favorite Erastus! Great band, great music. (click here for photos)
On Thursday, Tim McCreadie, starting from 8th position, won the first of the Twin 25 A-features. It’s Tim’s 18th attempt at the DLM Dream. Ricky Thornton Jr won the second Twin 25 A-feature. Ricky is not just a winner in this years DLM Dream preliminaries, he also won before in the preliminaries of the World 100. Each winner received a $12,000-check for his win of the Twin 25 A-feature

Friday was the night of Marlar and O’Neal. Mike Marlar won the first of the Twin 25 A-features, Hudson O’Neal the second one. Each winner received a $12,000-check for his win of the Twin 25 A-feature.

Jonathan Davenport was the Superman of the final day. He took the lead in lap 29 out of 100 and brought another victory home – his second DLM Dream win and his eight victory at Eldora. For his win Davenport received a $129,000 check.

Saturday’s 50/50 raffle of the Tony Stewart Foundation showed (after some technical problems of the vendor) a final amount of $109,906
(Thursday’s winner share was $18,233, Friday’s winner share was $27,066).
The mission of the Tony Stewart Foundation is to provide grant funding to well-qualified organizations serving children who are critically ill or physically disabled; animals at-risk or endangered; and drivers injured in the sport of motor racing.
