Susan L. (Stone) McSwain, 65, of New Madison, Ohio, formerly of Shelby, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, at Maple Gardens in Eaton, Ohio.
She was born on June 22, 1956, in Marion, North Carolina, to the late Bruce Stone and Helen (Pitman) Shepherd.
Susan was a lovable person and enjoyed being with her beloved dogs. She liked to cook and read. When she was in North Carolina, Susan loved going to the Outer Banks and spending time on the beach.
She is survived by her children, Rhianna Finnegan and Seth Treadway, both of North Carolina; her 8 grandchildren; her siblings, Skeeter (Karen) Stone of Abingdon, Virginia, and Sharon (Allen) Filby of New Madison, Ohio; and her ½ uncle, Brett (Kelly) Stone of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.
A celebration of Susan’s life will take place at a later date on her family’s homestead in North Carolina.
