Teresa A Fryman

June 4, 1954 – March 3, 2025

Teresa “Terri” Ann (Mark) Fryman, age 70, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio, on Monday, March 3, 2025. Teresa is the daughter of Lavon (Moyer) and Clarence Mark, born on June 4, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio.

Terri is preceded in death by her parents.

Terri is survived by her adoring husband of over 50 years, James “Jim” Fryman. The two were married on June 24, 1973, and built a beautiful life together over the years. She is survived by their two sons, Darrell (Natasha) Fryman and Andrew Fryman. She is also survived by her sister, Glenda (Scott) Sayger, niece, Jessica Jordan, and nephew, Justin Jordan. Terri will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, love, and music that will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family, friends, and community.

From a young age, Terri found joy in playing the piano, a passion that stayed with her throughout her life. Her love for music extended beyond the piano, as she also played the organ and shared her gift with her community. Whether performing for church services at the First Presbyterian Church, which she has done since 1991, playing at local events, or simply sharing a tune with friends, her music brought comfort and joy to all who heard it. She was always willing to use her talents for the community; she would play with the Greenville Wavaires, in civic theater productions, and even in a jazz band at the Greenville Park. She was known to put on an event called “Swinging with the Saints”, which everyone enjoyed!

In addition to her musical talents, Terri was a skilled crocheter and avid reader. She cherished spending time with friends over coffee and conversation, always eager to lend an ear and share a laugh. She was quite good at quilting and even attended a few camps to improve her skills!

A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Greenville on April 5, 2025, where we will celebrate her life and the beautiful music she gave to the world. The family will welcome friends from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, with a service to follow at noon. Services will be officiated by Pastor Andy Gilman.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Darke County Cancer Association in Terri’s memory. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with the Fryman family at www.zecharbailey.com
