Terry A. Brown, 70, of Versailles, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Wayne Healthcare in Greenville, Ohio.
He was born on September 19, 1951, in Greenville to the late Edward Brown and Bonnie (Fields) Owens.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brother, William Brown.
Terry worked for the Union City Body Company for many years until they closed. He moved to Workhorse until his retirement in 2011. When he was not working, Terry could be found fishing or in his workshop working on his next woodworking piece or wood burning project. Terry was an avid sports fan. He loved college football, especially Ohio State. He also liked watching the Cincinnati Reds and NASCAR. Terry also served as the Assistant Scout Master for Troop 145 in Gettysburg for several years.
Terry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Deborrah Sue (Ramsey) Brown, whom he married on December 31, 1971; his children, Eric (Jennifer Shook) Brown of Zanesville, Ohio, Gregory (Hope) Brown of Pensacola, Florida; his grandchildren, William, Abigail, Adalyn, Jonathan, and Amelia; his siblings, Jerry (Joanie) Brown of Greenville, Larry (Sue) Brown of Jasper, Alabama, James (Lori) Owen of Union City, Ohio, Georgia Itzack of Minster, Ohio, and Christine Brown of Minster.
A celebration of Terry’s life will take place at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Pastor Tony Price officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Garden.
Guests may visit with Terry’s family on Monday from 11:00 AM until the start of the service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
