Terry Lee Elson, 66 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday February 27, 2022 at 12:05 PM at his residence. Terry was born September 6, 1955 in Greenville, Ohio, the son of the late Orville and Georgianna (Arnett) Elson.
Terry served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He was a truck driver and drove for Scott Stickley.
Terry loved music, woodworking and working in his garage especially on lawnmowers.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Keith and David Elson.
Terry is survived by his wife, Teresa (Downey) Elson of Greenville whom he married October 19, 1978; his children and spouses, Brenda and Brian Bidwell of Greenville, Shannon and Paul Houston of Dayton, and Terry Michael Elson of Florida; his grandchildren, Brandon (Luella) Houston, Hayley Meade, Christopher (Brittany) Houston, Nicholas (Hailey) Houston, Sierra Meade, Ashton Houston; great grandchildren, Kinsley, Brayson, Christopher Jr., and Ashtyn, his sister in law, Lisa Downey, his best friend, Bruce Flatter; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his babies, Baby WaWa, Mario, and Peanut.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday March 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Don Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Snell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Veteran’s honors will be conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard.
