What comes first to mind when people think of and/or visit the Great Darke County Fair?
Depending on your interests: the kids who proudly display their animals or their products, the vendors, the many events, the rides, the music in the gazebo, the concerts and, last but not least, fair food! And the list might be even longer…
Yes, that’s all right!
But let’s not forget all the people who help every day to ensure that visitors can enjoy the fair without any worries: from the people who sell the fair tickets and work the gates, the people who steer you to your parking spot, the Sheriffs, the EMT’s, the people who make sure that the trash cans don’t overflow, the drivers of the fair taxis and all those who work in the background, plan, organize and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
To all of them: a BIG Thank You for everything you do.
If you meet some of these people at the fair, just say “thank you” – I bet, they’ll appreciate it… and they deserve it…
