The Darke County Animal Shelter has 3 new dogs available for adoption.
They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645
Sammie came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Sammie is 8-year-old intact male Terrier Mix. Sammie knows how to sit, shake, love to play with toys and eat treats! Sammie doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter and is learning to walk on a leash. Sammie did great for his nail trim and exam where is weighed in at 44 lbs. Bella came to us as a stray, so our knowledge about her is very limited and we only from what we have observed. We believe Bella is a 3-year-old female Mastiff Mix. Bella is shy at first but after a couple sniffs and pets she will be your best friend! Bella has shown us she knows how to sit, laydown and loves treats! Bella is a very sweet girl who loves attention and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Bella did great for her nail trim and exam where she weighs in at 62 lbs. Mary came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Mary is a 1 /2-Year-old female boxer Mix. Mary is a sweet girl who loves attention. Mary loves treat give her a few and you will be her best friend. Mary also likes to play with toys. Mary learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Mary did great for her nail trim and exam where she weighed in at 27 lbs.
