The Darke County Animal Shelter has 4 new dogs available for adoption.
They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645

We believe Hank is a 5-year-old, intact male Terrier Mix. Hank shown us that he knows how to sit, shake, love to play tug-a-war and ball. Hank loves treats and really enjoys being outside. Hank is learning to walk on a leash. Hank did great for his bath and exam where he weighs in at 56.4 lbs.Rainbow came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Rainbow a 5-year-old female Terrier Mix. Rainbow has shown us that she knows how to sit, and love treats. Rainbow learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Rainbow did great for her nail trim and exam where she weighs in at 53.1 lbs.Rick came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Rick is a 5-year-old, intact male American Bulldog Mix. Rick shown us that he knows how to sit, love to play tug-a-war and ball. Rick loves treats and attention. Rick is learning to walk on a leash.
