The Darke County Animal Shelter has 4 new dogs available for adoption.
They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645
Bennet came to us as an owner surrender. We are told Bennet is 4-year-old intact male Shepherd Mix. Bennet is looking for a forever home to give him love & attention! Bennet’s owners told us that he is great with kids, dogs and crate trained. Bennet is not a fan of cats. Bennet doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter! Bennet has shown us that he knows how to sit, shake and loves treats. Bennet did great for his bath and exam where he weighs in at 55 lbs.
Josie Jo came to us as an owner surrender. We are told Josie Jo is a 1-year-old female Corgi Mix. Josie Jo’s owner told us that Josie Jo is good with kids, dogs, cats and housebroken. Josie Jo’s owner also told us she knows how to sit, laydown, rollover and loves to cuddle. Josie Jo is very sweet girl who love attention and being outside. Josie Jo learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Josie Jo did great for exam where she weighs in at 13.4 lbs.
Pepper came to us as an owner surrender. We are told Pepper is a 12-year-old Shih-Tuz Mix. Pepper’s owners told us that he is great with kids, cats, dogs, loves to cuddle and will sleep in bed with you. Pepper is a sweet boy who loves people and is learning to walk on a leash. Pepper doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter! Pepper did great for his exam where he weighs in at 14.2 lbs
