The Darke County Animal Shelter has 5 new dogs available for adoption.
They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645
Kate came to us as an owner surrender. We are told Kate is a 3-year-old female Husky Mix. Kate’s owner told us that Kate is good with kids, housebroken and crate trained. Kate is a very sweet girl who has shown us she knows how to sit and loves treats! Kate learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Kate did great for her exam where she weighs in at 45.1 lbs. Dobby came to us as an owner surrender due to no fault of his own. We are told Dobby is a 1 1/2-year-oldmale Boster Terrier Mix. Dobby’s owner told us that Dobby loves kids, dogs and housebroken! Dobby has shown us that he knows how to sit, loves treats and attentions! Dobby learning to walk on the leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter! Dobby did great for his exam where he weighs in at 29.4 lbs.Ollie came to us as an owner surrender, due to no fault of his own. Unfortunately, his owner is dealing with some medical problems and couldn’t keep him. We have been told Ollie a 10-month intact male Lab Mix. Ollie’s owner told us that he is great with kids, dogs, working on house training and is crate trained. Ollie is a very sweet boy who is learning to walk on a leash and knows how to sit. Ollie’s owner told us that he loves to play ball, tug-a-war and loves to go swimming. Ollie doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Ollie loves treat and loves anyone who will give him attention! Ollie did great for exam where he weighed in at 45.3 lbs. Buddy came to us as an owner surrender. We have been told Buddy a 3-year-old Intact male Lab Mix. Buddy’s owner told us that he is great with kids and was a outside dog. Buddy is a very sweet boy who is learning to walk on a leash. Buddy doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Buddy has shown us that he knows how to sit. Buddy did great for his nail trim and exam where he weighed in at 42.2bs. Buster came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Buster is a 2-year-old male Lab Mix. Buster shown us that he knows how to sit and laydown. Buster loves treats and attention. Buster is learning to walk on a leash. Buster did great for his exam where he weighs in at 86 lbs.
