The Darke County Animal Shelter has 6 new dogs available for adoption.
They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645
Tina came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited and what we do know, is only from what we have observed. We believe Tina! is a 2-year-old, female Poodle Mix. Tina is a very sweet girl who loves attention. Tina has shown us she knows how to sit and loves treats. Tina is learning to walks on a leash and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Tina did great for her exam where she weighed in at 44 lbs. Ted came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Ted is a 4-year-old, intact male Bassets Hound Mix. Ted would rather be outside put his nose for good use to sniff the air than play with toys. Ted is a very sweet boy who could easily let that big nose of his lead him into mischief. Ted is just waiting on his forever family to come and take him home. Ted is not a fan of the leash but is leaning how to be on one. Ted has no problem whatsoever letting you know when he is displeased by howling at you. Ted did great for his nail trim and exam where he weighs in at 44 lbs.Nicol came to us as a stray, so our knowledge is very limited and only to what we have observed. We believe Nicol is a 5 -year-old female Terrier Mix. Nicol has shown us she knows how to sit, shake and loves treats. Nicol sweet girl who loves attention and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Nicol weighs in at 70 lbs. Pixie came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited and what we do know, is only from what we have observed. We believe Pixie is a 5-year-old, female Terrier Mix. Pixie has shown us she knows how to sit, shake and loves treats. Pixie is learning to walks on a leash and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Pixel is a very sweet girl who is just waiting for her forever family to come get her. Pixie did great for her exam where she weighed in at 45 lbs.Phoebe came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Phoebe a 5-year-old female German Shepherd Mix. Phoebe has shown us that she knows how sit, shake, loves to play with toys and like treats. Phoebe is beautiful girl who loves attention and can’t wait to find her forever family. Phoebe learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Phoebe did great for her nail trim and exam where she weighs in at 58 lbs. Aspen came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Aspen a 2-year-old female Poddle Mix. Aspen has shown us that she knows how to sit and love treats. Aspen is a very sweet girl looking for her forever home. Aspen learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Aspen did great for exam where she weighs in at 34 lbs.
