The Darke County Animal Shelter has 4 new dogs, each one of them the perfect pet for someone out there.
All of them got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are dewormed, heartworm negative and microchipped.
The Shelter’s adoption fees are $90 cash/check. Their visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday 9am-11:30 am. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645.
We have been told that Jasmine is a 3-year-old female Mastiff mix. Jasmine likes kids and walks great on a leash. Jasmine loves attention, belly rubs and ear scrtches! Jasmine doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Jasmine did great for her bath, ear cleaning and her exam where she weighs in at 131 lbs.We have been told that KJ is a 4-year-old intact male Husky mix. We have been told KJ is housebroken, and has been around an 11 year old child. KJ is a very sweet boy who has a happy go lucky attitude, who loves to talk and is affectionate! KJ doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. KJ walks well on a leash and has shown us when asked to sit and gets so excited and he lays down. KJ did great for his exam where he weighs in at 61 lbs.Lizzie came to us as an owner surrender, due to no fault of her own. We have been told that Lizzie is a 3-year-old female Mastiff mix. Lizzie likes kids and walks well on a leash and respond to her name. Lizzie loves attention, especially scratches behind her ears! Lizzie doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Lizzie did great for her bath, ear cleaning and her exam where she weighs in at 119 lbs.Petey came to us as a stray, so our knowledge is limited. Petey came in with a microchip, but we are unable to make contact with his owners they will not return our calls. We believe he is about 4-year-old neutered male Terrier Mix. Petey is a very smart boy who knows how to sit, shake, and loves to play with toys. Petey walks great on a leash and loves attention! Petey would love to find a home where he is the only dog in the home, to take up all your love and attention, so he doesn’t have to share it! Petey weighs in at 48.1 lbs.
