For a few days end of June, from June 27 to June 30 to be precise, the Garden Bros Nuclear Circus made a stop in Beavercreek.
Garden Bros Circus is a Canadian internationally traveling circus currently based in Florida. It was founded in the 1930s by two Scottish immigrants, William Garden and Robertson Garden, who settled in Canada in 1916.
Since early 2024, the circus is touring across different states as part of its “Humans Gone Wild” tour.
The artists are mostly from North and South America, Jr. the Clown, the main character of the Show, explained, who is a 5th generation Circus member. His wife added that she was born in the Circus . “It’s my life”, she said. This here is my family of the heart.
The show is about fully immersive virtual reality experience where Jr. travels the World to explore various Circus performing artists, featuring the world’s smallest person at just 23 inches tall, awe-inspiring human cannonball, 7 Man-team in the Globe of Death, performing dogs, juggling routines, acrobatics, drummers and so much more.
A total of about 125 people are working at this Circus, artists and staff for all kind of duties and tasks around the show.
Besides the Show with phenomenal acts itself, the Circus offers a lot of entertainment for kids afterwards – or before the show, when you come early: face painting, bounce houses, climbing wall, monster slide, pony rides, and much more.
