In just one week, on September 9, from 12PM to 4PM, the Hogg Shop will be holding another big Fundraiser event.
In 2022 the Hogg Shop organized a fundraiser event to help a young couple who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident to pay their bills.
This year’s fundraiser is called “Powering out Breast Cancer” and the recipient is Ashley Lovett and her family. Ashley is currently in the process of fighting breast cancer and she and her family need the love and support they can get. Proceeds from this benefit will go to help with medical expenses for Ashley.
The event has grown in size to the point the event has outgrown the original plans of the organizers to hold it at the Family Dollar/Dollar Tree lot again. Due to the overwhelming interest from the trucking industry the location of the event was moved to accommodate the amount of trucks/large equipment coming. The Village of Arcanum is allowing the Hogg Shop to use the baseball fields and parking for this event (Arcanum Community Baseball Field, 205 S Walnut Street, Arcanum).
There will be food, raffles, music and so much more.
Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Troy will be making an appearance with old and new Mopar muscle cars. The R.D. Holder Oil Company will be bringing one of their pink breast cancer trucks! And there will be more trucks showing up, including show-trucks. CareFlight is also expected as well as flyovers by the Butler County Warbirds amongst others.
There will be raffles with all kind of (valuable) prizes.
Arcanum’s own Huston’s Restaurant is going to be at the “Powering out Breast Cancer” event with their homemade apple dumplings. Fren-Cheese, Crème de la Crème, Buckeye Burgers and other food vendors will also be there.
This will be an event you don’t want to miss.
