COLUMBUS, Ohio— The Ohio Republican Party’s State Central Committee passed the resolution “to Protect Innocent Life and Parental Rights by Raising the Voter Approval Required for Citizen-Initiated Constitutional Amendments in Ohio.”
The resolution urges all Ohio Republican Legislators to vote in favor of raising the voter threshold required to amend Ohio’s constitution and allow for an August special election.
“The time to act is now, and every day that passes without these bills passed is a day where tens of thousands of lives are at stake.” Ohio Right to Life’s Director of Communications, Elizabeth Marbach, stated. “Ohio Right to Life is sincerely grateful for the party leaders passing this resolution, and we join them in urging the Ohio House to pass these two bills and defend the right to life.”
