Thomas Duane Pugh, 74, passed away April 4, 2023, in the care of EverHeart Hospice Care Center. He was born October 20, 1948, in Union City, Ohio to the late Claude and Ellen Pugh.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Janie (Mason) Pugh. His children, Scott (Tammy) Pugh of Union City, IN and Jeff Pugh of Union City, OH. His grandchildren, Larissa Pugh, Halei (Michael) Dingwerth, Devin (Bri) Pugh, Zee Hawkey, and Keagan Pugh. He loved sending time with his great grandchildren, Karston, Owen, Graham, and Wilder. He is also survived by his niece, Kelly Young.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Bill.
Tom retired from Whirlpool Corporation. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, music, and woodworking. He loved being outdoors and spending time with his family. He got great comfort and joy from his two furbabies, Vlad and Frankie.
Services will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Reichard Funeral Home 400 W. Deerfield Road Union City, IN. Friends and family can visit from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, with services starting at 3:00pm. Graveside services will follow at New Lisbon Cemetery. Pastor Nick Philiposian will be conducting the services for the family.
