The Darke County Animal Shelter has 3 new dogs available for adoption.
They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday 9am-11:30 am. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645.
Tessa came to us as an owner surrender. We are told Tessa is a 1-year-old female German Shepherd Mix. Tessa loves to run and be outside. Tessa has shown us she knows how to sit, loves treats and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Tessa is a very sweet girl who just wants to be loved on. Tessa is learning how to walk on a leash. Tessa did great for her bath and exam where she weighs in at 65 lbs.
Emmy came to us as a stray so our knowledge about her is very limited and what we do know, is only from what we have observed. We believe Emmy is a 7-year-old, female Boxer mix. Emmy is a very calm girl who loves attention. Emmy has shown us that she knows how to sit and she walks well on a leash. Emmy doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Emmy did great for her bath and exam where she weighs in at 42.2 lbs.
Cookie came to us as an owner surrender, due to no fault of her own. We are told Cookie is a 1 year old female German Shepherd Mix. Cookie is a very sweet girl who loves to run and be outside. Cookie doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Cookie has shown us she knows how to sit and loves treats. Cookie loves to chase after toys but once she gets them, she not sure what to. Cookie is learning how to walk on a leash. Cookie did great for her bath and exam where she weighs in at 62 lbs.
