Timothy “Tim” A. Menger, 55, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away, unexpectedly, on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Wayne Healthcare in Greenville.
He was born on November 4, 1966, in Greenville to Linda (Hale) Alvey of Greenville, and the late Kenny Eugene Menger.
In addition to his father, Tim was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Menger; and his nephew, Dylan Stith.
Tim loved anything fast and loud. He could take any engine and make it faster. He worked at Ohio Crankshaft, building high performance motors. He loved drag racing, both building the motors and driving the cars. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, probably fast, with his brother and friends. He met Marie when he was 23 and they have been inseparable for the last 32 years.
In addition to his mother, Tim is survived by his partner, Marie Miller; his brother, Jamie (Shelly) Menger of Greenville; his nieces and nephews, Joshua (Heather) Stith of Greenville, Breann (Steven) Mittermann of St. Henry, Ohio, Ashlyn Menger of Rossburg, Ohio, Jakob Menger of Greenville, Erik Menger of Greenville, Chelsea Koons of Greenville, and Eric Koons of Greenville; his sister-in-law, Amy (Chad) Koons of Greenville, his mother and father-in-law, Therese and Larry Miller of Greenville; and his little dog, Ellie. Tim also leaves behind his very special friends, Dave and Kathy Purk and their family, and Junior Jackson; and several great nieces, cousins and friends.
