Two statewide ballot initiatives have now qualified for the ballot for the November 7 General Election:
- A proposed constitutional amendment called, “The Right to Reproductive Freedom with Protections for Health and Safety,” would enshrine abortion in Ohio’s constitution.
- “An Act to Control and Regulate Adult Use Cannabis,” would legalize recreational marijuana use and impose a 10% tax on purchases. The Secretary of State announced on August 16 that the initiative had gathered enough to appear on the November ballot.
