Union City Police executes high-risk warrant

Union City, IN – On December 27, 2024 the Union City Police Department Special Entry Tactical Team (SETT), in coordination with the Randolph County Emergency Response Team (ERT) and multiple law enforcement agencies, successfully executed a high-risk warrant in Spartanburg, Indiana, leading to the apprehension of Adam Fisher, age 26 of Union City, Indiana. Fisher was wanted on a Felony Battery warrant and was taken into custody without incident.

The operation was carried out at 6649 E. 1st St., Spartanburg, Indiana. Upon his arrest, officers discovered illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. Following the apprehension, a search warrant was executed on the residence. The search led to the seizure of over 30 firearms, along with thousands of rounds of ammunition. Initial investigations suggest that the firearms and ammunition may have been stolen during a burglary in Darke County, Ohio.

This operation is a prime example of the collaborative efforts of multiple law enforcement agencies working together for the safety of our communities. We are grateful for the seamless coordination that allowed us to apprehend a dangerous individual while ensuring the safety of all involved. The recovery of stolen firearms and drugs further highlights the importance of our ongoing commitment to combat crime and protect our citizens.
