Congratulations to the Versailles FFA members who competed in the State FFA Parliamentary Procedure Contest on Saturday, December 14th at Delaware Career Center. As part of the Parliamentary Procedure contest, each team, consisting of six members, was responsible for completing a 12 minute demonstration of parliamentary procedure that included using different abilities and motions. Each student also took a test and answered oral questions that assessed their knowledge of rules of order related to parliamentary procedure.
The Versailles FFA varsity parliamentary procedure team finished 3rd. The team consisted of President-Colin Batten, Secretary Monica Evers and members Hank Smith, Jayna Luthman, Eden and Liam Barga. This is the first time in the past 20 plus years for Versailles FFA to qualify for the State FFA Parliamentary Procedure Contest.
