On Wednesday, September 25th the Versailles FFA Soil Judging team participated in the District Soils in Preble county.
The Versailles FFA Rural Soil Judging Team placed 1st overall in the district contest out of 31 teams.
Team members included Luke Kaiser 1st overall, Maggie McGlinch 2nd overall, Adam Rauh 15th overall, Josie Pothast 18th overall, Jayna Luthman 24th overall, additional team members Gracie Henry, Patrick McGlinch and Gabe McGlinch, over 225 individuals participated in the rural soil judging contest.
Additionally Hanna Luthhman participated in the urban soil judging contest. As part of the contest they evaluated 4 soil judging pits, took a written test and a test over a soil survey.
