Poultry Days was able to make annual donations despite COVID restrictions on the 2020 festival. While the world slowed last year community needs didn’t, and the grass at Heritage Park continued to grow. Overwhelming demand for chicken enabled the board to continue donations and fund the park.

From family picnics to the new Frisbee Golf Course the park had record use over the last year.
Poultry Days recently met with leaders of the Versailles Boy Scout Troop and Cub Scout Pack 79. Pack 79 is one of the oldest clubs in Ohio. With strong community pride the scouts and their leaders clean the grounds during the festival. Many of the scouts go on to volunteer across the festival. Poultry Days wants to publicly thank the scouts, both past and present, for their hard work.
In additional to supporting area groups with direct donations the festival strives to include organizations in the festival to support their fundraising. This includes Versailles Music Boosters, VAPPA, The Zac Richard Memorial Scholarship, Knights of Columbus, YOLO, 4-H, and Versailles Lions. If your Versailles area organization would like to become involved please email PoultryDaysChairman@gmail.com.
Poultry Days thanks festival goers, volunteers and businesses for sharing their time and resources with the festival. The 2021 Versailles Poultry Days Festival is scheduled for June 11-13th. For more information go to VersaillesPoultryDays.com.
