Wanda A. Brewer

Wanda A. Brewer, 93, of Ansonia, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Greenville. 

She was born on November 22, 1928, in Versailles, Ohio, to the late Adam and Mae (Boomershine) Kelch. 

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband whom she married on March 18, 1950, Glenn Brewer, who passed away on July 17, 2007; her grandson, Kyle Magoto; her great grandson, Isaac Magoto; and her siblings, Dorothy Kelch, John (Doris) Kelch, and Lloyd (Annabelle) Kelch. 

Wanda was a 1946 graduate of Versailles High School. She then went to work for Greenville National Bank, until she retired. In her early years, Wanda enjoyed being on the water boating and swimming. She also liked to go fishing on Lake Erie. Wanda loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She even traveled out to California from time-to-time to visit with her grandchildren there. She was a long time member of the Ansonia Christian Church until it closed, and then joined the Ansonia United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Ansonia American Legion Auxiliary, where she was a past president. 

Wanda is survived by her children, Jim Brewer of Vandalia, Ohio, Jerry (Jennifer) Brewer of Ansonia, Ohio, and Judy (Steve) Magoto of Russia, Ohio; her grandchildren, Justin (Eva) Brewer of Somerset, Ohio, Jamie (Kerly) Brewer of Weston, Florida, Travis (Abby) Magoto of Fremont, Ohio, Mandy (Michael) Mannino of Tustin, California, and Bradley (Angela) Alspaugh of Union City; and her great grandchildren, Claire, Andrew, Elijah, Van, Lucy, Beau, Zoe, Noah, and Ethan. 

A celebration of life will take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Pastor Roger Emerson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. 

Guests may visit with her family on Saturday from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
