Wendy Smith

March 15, 1968 — August 9, 2024

Our beautiful caring mother and nana unexpectedly went to heaven on August 9,2024 surrounded by loved ones. Wendy was born on March 5,1968 to Dan and Shirley Noland of Grand Rapids, MN. She grew up on the Iron Range and graduated from Greenway High in 1986. She married Michael Mackey Sr. and had two children, Michael Mackey Jr. and Lindsey Mackey.

Later in her life she moved to Indiana where she remarried Donnie Smith of Union City, IN and had one daughter Jessica Smith. Wendy resided in Greenville, OH and started HPC private care which was a passion of hers. Wendy lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with a joyful spirit and a heart full of love. Her family, especially her grandkids, were her greatest pride and joy. She found immense joy taking them on adventures and cherished every moment spent with them.

Wendy was known for her sharp sense of humor; if you were with her, you were guaranteed to be laughing. Her laughter was contagious, and she had a unique ability to bring joy to those around her. Wendys caring personality set her apart – she was always thinking of others and went out of her way to make everyone feel special. Whether it was a thoughtful gift or taking time out of her busy day to lend a helping hand. Wendys kindness knew no bounds.

Wendy will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Wendy is survived by her children Michael (Amanda) Mackey of Zimmerman, MN. Lindsey (Steven) Johnson of Union City, IN. Jessica (Matt) Morgan of Arcanum, OH. Grandhildren Quincy, Miles, Baleigh, Griffin, Brilee, Olivia, Elouise, Carolyn, Agnes, and Deloris. Mother Shirley Noland. Siblings Tammy (Gene) Senogles and Tina Sutherland.

Preceded in death by her father Daniel Noland Sr. and brother Daniel Noland Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 24, 2024, 2pm at 440 Greenville Nashville Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 – Chenoweth Trails Greenville, OH
