Wilma Eileen Thompson, 95 went to be with the Lord on November 22, 2021. She was born February 14, 1926 in Greenville, Ohio the daughter of the late Dutch and Margaret (Wick) Applegate. She was the 7th of 8 children.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
She married Charles Denver Thompson on April 8, 1944 in Richmond, Indiana; they had four children; Margaret Elaine, Susan Kay, Gary Lynn, (dec.) and John Charles; and 6 grandchildren.
Services will be held on Wednesday December 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Foundation, or EverHeart Hospice.
