Screening, Registration scheduled
Kindergarten screening and registration will be conducted by
Mississinawa Schools Wednesday, April 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Registration packet can be picked up at the elementary office; or call
937-968-4464 and ask for Sandy. If your child is 5-yrs-old by August
1st he or she is eligible for kindergarten. If the child is 6-yrs-old
by August 1st, it is mandatory that your child attend kindergarten.

Ohio Railroad Museum Dining by Rail
The Bradford Ohio Railroad Museum is holding the second annual Dining
By Rail April 13, 2013. This dinner is made from authentic railroad
dining car service recipes. The dinner raises funds for capital
improvements to the museum. The chef is Michael James of Catering by
Michael. He makes a wonderful meal with plenty to go back for seconds.

DCCA presents Sleeping Beauty at
Versailles
Performing Arts Center
Darke County Center for the Arts will present American Family Theater's
musical adaptation of the classic fairy tale Sleeping Beauty at
Versailles Performing Arts Center on Sunday April 14; this change from
the originally announced venue was made necessary due to the temporary
closure of the auditorium at Henry St. Clair Memorial Hall. The show

Coffee with the Commissioner
Commissioner Mike Stegall will be appearing in New Weston, Ohio on
April 6th for a “Coffee with the Commissioner” gathering.
Commissioner Stegall will be there starting at 9:00 a.m. The meeting
will be at the Community Town Hall located just east of Birt’s Store.
This is the first time the Commissioner will be bringing this event to
New Weston. This meeting, like all the others, will be very
informal with everyone able to ask questions about government,
