Scholarships available through OSU Alumni Club
The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Darke County announces the availability of four scholarships. Graduating seniors of the class of 2014 who have been admitted to The Ohio State University for fall entrance are eligible. To be considered for this scholarship, seniors must be a resident of or attending high school in Darke County. Those applying are preferably ranked in the top 10% of their high school class and must be recommended by a school principal, counselor, or teacher based on scholarship ability and character. A record of performance in school and community activities will be reviewed as part of the interview process. This will be used to select students with a sound interest and positive attitude toward college work. Seniors are to see their High School guidance counselor for an application.
Medicare 2014 to be hosted at T-V Rescue

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Nears
The Darke County Solid Waste District will once again sponsor a one-day, drive-through household hazardous waste collection event on Saturday, October 26, 2013.  Darke County Residents are invited to drop off their household hazardous waste at the Darke County Fairgrounds Swine Barn from 8 am to 12 noon.
