The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services will meet
Wednesday, September 18 at 6:45PM in the Marianne Helmlinger Board Room

Cardinal Center supporters meet
Sept. 17
The
Village of Gettysburg is pleased to announce that The Cardinal Center
has passed inspection for the community wing of the building and the
gymnasium is now available for rental until the weather turns cold.
Unfortunately, funding is still needed to upgrade heating system. As
part of this process, an organizational meeting to form a non-profit
group to work on behalf of The Cardinal Center will be held at the

A weekend of old fashion fun. The corn husking contest will be held Oct
19-20 2013 at Magie Wonder Acres 2764 Wildcat Rd Greenville Oh. The
contest is held in the corn field the contestant husks the corn and
throws into old fashion box bed wagon. The winner is determined by the
person that husks the most corn by weight with least deductions for
husks and missed ears. There are 10 classes divided by age and gender.
The Ohio contest will determine whom from Ohio will be able to husk at
National level on Oct. 20. Ohio will host a special class for FFA

Commissioner Mike Stegall will be having one of his “Coffee with the
Commissioner” meetings on Saturday, September 7th, in Greenville at The
Coffee Pot Company located at the corner of 5th and Broadway in the
Palace. The meeting will be from 8:00 a.m. until about 10:00
a.m., or always longer if needed. Commissioner

Tour de Donut continues to be a
tasty race
The Tour de Donut in Darke County continues to increase in size and
popularity. Since starting in 2007 in Greenville at the Darke County
Fairgrounds, the event has grown from 106 riders to over 1300 riders in
2012. This year, the event is expected to draw nearly 2000
participants. The Tour de Donut is a time raced. The faster a bicyclist

Game Show Guy entertains on first
night of
event
ARCANUM – This is the seventh year for the annual Tour de Donut and
organizers are celebrating the event’s success with a two-day event.
Activities begin on Sept. 6, beginning at 5 p.m. with dinner rides to
Greenville, Pitsburg or short round-trip to Farmer Brown. Riders will
want to get back to Arcanum in time for a fun-filled evening with The

On Tuesday September 10th writer Chris Cobb will speak in the Reference
Room of the Greenville Public Library at 6:30 p.m. The public is
