honoring Darke County native Chelsey Keiser, as they race the
all-female driver’s race closing night in her honor. Chelsey is a 2010
Versailles graduate and daughter of Mike and Debbie Keiser of North
Star, Ohio. Chelsey is a jockey, currently hanging her tack at Suffolk
Downs in Boston where she is in the top ten in Jockey Standings.

Alan Francis of Defiance, OH won a Guinness Book of Records' 19th NHPA
Men's Class A World horseshoe pitching championship at Buffalo. NY this
past weekend. Francis finished 15-0 in the round-robin championship
tournament by throwing 650 ringers on 754 shoes, a percentage of 86.21
percent. He defeated runnerup Brian Simmons 40-17 and third-place
