Antlerless Deer Muzzleloader Hunting Season is Oct. 11-12
The white-tailed deer antlerless muzzleloader hunting season returns to
Ohio on Oct. 11-12. Hunters checked 5,608 antlerless deer during the
2013 season. It is legal to hunt antlerless deer with a muzzleloader or
bow during this two-day season. No antlered deer may be harvested

Speaker Series Begins October 12
Garst Museum will kick off its annual free speaker series with the
film, “Life in Greenville 1939.” Local businessman Bryan Geis will
present the program, giving a short talk, then showing the film. Geis,

will be closed Mon., Oct. 13th in honor of Columbus Day. This
includes the Darke County Metropolitan Housing Authority and Community

Rails 5K event
Run for the Rails 5-K event will take place October 11, 2014. This run
will benefit the Bradford Ohio Railroad Museum. The proceeds raise
funds for the capital improvements at the museum. Runners can register
