Dear friends, The news is dominated by the refugee crisis. Commentators
debate it, politicians are fighting, Facebook opinions are running
wild, Christians are on both sides of the debate. It's a confusing
issue. I don't claim to know the answer, but I do know this. As
Christians, this world is not our home either. In a way, we are
refugees in a strange land, awaiting the day we can go home...

remember the episode where the new kid in town was told repeatedly to
stop riding his bike on the sidewalk? Remember Sheriff Andy had had
enough of warning the kid, took the kid and the bike to the Court House
and called the kid's Dad? Remember the Dad being at the Court House and
the kid saying he did not hurt anyone while riding his bike...

The Season!

Hi, all!! As I write this, I rub my forehead and I don't know whether
to laugh or cry. On my answering machine was a message from the
Government - the Government!! A guy who said his name was David (in
broken English), warned me I needed to call a number he left in the
message. I should do this as this was the "second warning" - "do not
