On September 27th, 2025 at approximately 0537 hours, I was dispatched to 710 Gray Avenue, Greenville, Ohio 45331 in reference to a report of a burglary not in progress. Upon my arrival, I spoke with Mark Wetherbee ( the victim). Mark advised that sometime before 10 P. M. the night prior someone entered his home and stole multiple items. Mark stated those items include a Harley Davidson watch, a silver necklace with a silver cross pendant, $45 in cash, a mason jar containing various silver coins adding up to approximately $75, and a CVS pill bottle containing two weeks’ worth of Suboxone strips which was prescribed to Mark. Mark resides at the above-mentioned address with his wife and daughter. Mark stated he and his wife went to the Greenville High School football game on the night of the 26th. Mark advised they returned at approximately 10 P. M. While speaking with Mark, he advised he does leave the doors to his residence unlocked often. Mark then stated a subject by the name of Brad Davis who has previously entered the residence on multiple occasions asking Mark if he would like Brad to mow his yard for him. Mark stated he was not sure if Brad had stolen something in the past but wanted it to be mentioned in this report that he has made entry into the residence in the past without having permission to be there. Mark also advised his daughter has had multiple friends over to the residence, however, he doesn’t believe his daughter’s friends would have taken those items. I will attempt to make contact with Brad once he is located reference this incident. Sgt. Smith arrived a short time later and began photographing the front door of the residence as well as the dresser in the back bedroom where everything was located according to Mark (see photo log for further). Mark filled out a statement and victim’s rights form which will be attached to this report. Mark advised he wanted to file a report for the missing items so he would be able to renew his prescription and get more medication sent to him to make up for the amount that was stolen. Mark was unable to provide dollar amounts for what the items were worth. Mark advised he would call back if he needed further police intervention. I asked Mark if he had any cameras at the residence to which he replied he did not. I was unable to observe any cameras in the area which would assist in determining who the subject may have been that made entry into the residence and stole Mark’s belongings. I will be reaching out to the local pawn shops later this afternoon to attempt to locate some of the stolen items.

On September 4, 2025, at approximately 1814 hours, I responded to 552 Eleventh Street in reference to a vandalism. Upon my arrival, I made contact with the complainants, Frank and Claudia Gilmore. Frank stated that the front driver’s side window of his 2007 Chevy truck was broken sometime between 1400 hours and 1800 hours. Frank stated that his Wife, Claudia, had driven the vehicle into town and returned home to park the truck on the street in front of their residence. Upon speaking with Claudia, she stated that she believes she parked the vehicle between 1400-1430 hours. Claudia stated that they had not seen anyone in the area, or heard the window shatter. Claudia stated that at approximately 1800 hours, she and Frank were planning to drive to the Greenville High School football game and noticed the window to be broken. Upon examining the vehicle, I located the front driver’s side window to be shattered. I did not located any other damage to the vehicle. I asked Frank and Claudia if they regularly kept any items of value in the truck to which they stated no. There was a small hole in the center of the window towards the bottom at the seal line. It did not appear that anyone had attempted to get inside of the vehicle. Upon opening the other side of the truck, I attempted to locate any object that would have caused this damage but was unsuccessful. Frank stated that the only items that they keep in the truck are booster seats for their grandkids. Frank looked around the truck and stated that nothing was out of place or missing. I then asked Frank if they had any cameras that would have caught this incident, to which he stated no. I attempted to make contact with neighbors that had visible cameras in the area but they stated their cameras did not catch the incident. Photos were taken of the vehicle. Frank completed a written statement form, as well as, a victim’s rights form that will be attached to this report. There are no leads at this time. No items were taken from the vehicle.
