Max is a 3-year-9-month-old neutered male Terrier mix who came to us through no fault of his own—his owner had a change in work life and couldn’t give him the time he deserves. Max is a sweet, sensitive soul who is having a tough time adjusting to shelter life. He’s quite shy at first, but with a little patience and a lot of love, he has the potential to become an incredibly loyal companion. According to his former family, Max is housebroken, crate-trained, and good with other dogs. We’re told Max loves to cuddle, play ball, and go for car rides. He will likely do best in a quieter home where he can take his time to settle in. Max just needs someone to believe in him and help him feel safe again. Max weighs in at 11 lbs.
