Earl James “Jimmy” Harden, age 89, of Greenville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at EverHeart Care Center. Jimmy was born on April 15, 1936, in Batesville, Mississippi to the late Rosevelt Harden and Estilla Hemphill Bedford.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Roberta (Harmon) Harden; their cherished Pomeranian, Horatio; and several siblings.
He leaves behind many friends, nieces, and nephews who will fondly remember his kindness and warm spirit.
Jimmy enjoyed playing bingo and loved traveling to Las Vegas . He was also an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and enjoyed cheering them on throughout the years.
Jimmy dedicated part of his life to serving others through his work as a police officer in Piqua, Oh and later during his employment at Union City Body.
He will be remembered for his caring nature, gentle heart, and love for his community.
A private service was held at the convenience of the family.
