Ronald Dale Schall, 78 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday May 11, 2026, at 6:20 AM at his residence. Ronald was born June 12, 1947, in Wengerlawn, Ohio, the son of the late Andrew C. and Audrey M. (Jackson) Schall.
Ronald served his country in the United States Army in the Vietnam War; he worked for 30 years in printing at McCalls and James River, and then for 10 ½ years at Delphi in Moraine. Ronald was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders for 9 years; he served on the Honor Guard at Dayton National Cemetery for almost 6 years. He loved to play golf, go fishing, ride his bicycle and had a passion for photography.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Geraldine Jackson, Sharon Newland, and Joyce Combs; and his brother, Richard Schall.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Judy (Crowell) Schall of Greenville whom he married May 26, 2001; his children, Tony and Sarah Baker of Arcanum, Scott and Shiloh Baker of Greenville, and Jonathon and Rebecca Baker of Gaithersburg, MD; his grandchildren, Austin Roy, James Baker, Shaelyn Baker, Mason Baker, Sienna Baker, and Maxwell Baker; his siblings, Charles and Pat Schall of Vandalia, Beverly and Jim Hall of Hillsboro, and Karen Dunigan of Michigan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Military Graveside Honors will be held on Wednesday May 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday May 19, 2026, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dayton National Cemetery
