On May 21, 2026 at approximately 4:04 PM Darke County Deputies along with Greenville Township Fire, Greenville City Fire and Greenville Township rescue were dispatched to US Route 127 and State Route 121 in reference to an injury accident.
Preliminary investigation revealed a 2014 Chevy Sonic driven by Addison Meade (17) of Palestine, Ohio was traveling north on US Route 127 when she attempted to turn onto the State Route 121 ramp. Meade failed to negotiate the turn striking an overhead sign support, where the vehicle came to rest.
Meade and her two passengers were transported to Wayne HealthCare by Greenville Township Rescue with minor injuries.
