Robert (Bob) Epperly passed peacefully with his children by his side on May 29, 2026. Bob was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Born to the late Dwight and Hazel (Oerthman) Epperly on January 19, 1940. Married Patricia Mayo on June 23, 1962.
Preceded in death by his loving wife Patsy, and brother in-law Charles Anthony. Survived by brothers Eugene (Joann) Epperly, Wayne (Jen) Epperly; and sister Barbara Anthony.
Survived by children Mike (Ann) Epperly, Melissa (Bryan) Roessner, Kim (Tony) Voisin; Grandchildren Ryan Epperly, Lindsey (Scott) Trivisonno, Austin Epperly, Cassandra (Ben) Riggs, Corey (Erin) Roessner, Carrie Roessner, Rob (Grace) Voisin, Casey Voisin, and Maggie Voisin; Great-grandchildren Jaxson Smith, Liam Riggs, Oakley Roessner, Kenny Trivisonno, Rory Trivisonno; step-great-grandchildren Caleb Riggs and Carly Riggs; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Graduate of Versailles High School and Miami-Jacobs College.
Worked at Carl Subler Trucking and MDR Trucking in Jonesboro, Arkansas; retired from Pohl Transportation in 2007; owner of Epperly Leasing; volunteered at Versailles Elementary School for several years following his retirement.
Member of St. Mary Catholic Church, past member of Holy Family Church Council and St. Mary Church Council.
Member of Versailles Jaycees, Phi Delta Kappa of Greenville, Versailles Rotary, and Darke County Bowling.
Bob and Patsy enjoyed spending time with family, traveling to Arizona for the winter and other locations in the United States. He especially enjoyed their European travels to England and Scotland. Bob enjoyed playing bid euchre and was notorious for his fearless bidding.
Bob and Patsy were grateful to have spent their 60th wedding anniversary in June 2022 with a large gathering of their friends and family before Patsy’s passing in December 2023.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, June 5, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenville. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park in Covington, Ohio.
Guests may visit with Bob’s family on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville.
