Crews worked tirelessly to keep the racing surface in shape whenever the skies allowed, while competitors remained ready for action despite the uncertainty. The weather may have interrupted the timetable, but it couldn’t dampen the excitement surrounding one of sprint car racing’s crown jewel events.
Macri Makes History in the Kings Royal
When the track was finally ready and the green flag waved for the 43rd Kings Royal, the wait proved worthwhile.
