As we dive into the month of August, the Arcanum Public Library hopes you will find some time to enjoy the season as well as take advantage of their great resources at the Arcanum Public Library.
If you’re traveling, this is a great time to check out a book or movie to take along for the trip. They also have hotstpots that can be reserved and checked out to bring as well. Each hotspot is available for one week to check out, as long as a patron’s card is in good standing. The hotspot is great to have available wi-fi as you travel for entertainment or work purposes. Check out the availability and our policies at the front desk.
If a stay-cation is on your list or you have an interest in checking out some local spots to enjoy, they may have a membership you can check out for a visit. In their Discovery Pass Program, the Arcanum Public Library has passes currently to Boonshoft Children’s Museum, Armstrong Air and Space Museum, Dayton Art Institute, Sunwatch Village, Carrillon Park, and Allwood Audubon. Each pass varies on the amount of adults and children allowed per visit for free admission, but it’s a great resource to stay local and enjoy a day out.
