Stephanie C. Williams, age 57, of Greenville, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Rest Haven in Greenville.
She was born on October 16, 1968, in Greenville, to Florence E. Williams of Abbottsville, and the late Carl D. Williams.
In addition to her father, Stephanie was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Williams. She is survived by her partner, Forest Watkins of Greenville; her children, Debby (Bryan) Houdeshell, Tiffany Swiger, and Colin (LaKeisha Wilson) Swiger, all of Greenville; her grandchildren, Mariah, Hailey, Samantha, Shane, Aubrey, Camron, Cali, Brooklyn, Kyra, Chance, Theo, and Niylah; her sisters, Deb Fox and Susan Pyles, both of Abbottsville, and Jody Beavers of Ansonia; her childhood best friend, Bev Deskin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who she considered family.
Stephanie attended Arcanum High School. She was a longtime member of the Greenville Moose Lodge 329, where she was a beloved bartender for many years. She enjoyed gambling, especially playing pull tabs, and was always ready for a good time with family and friends. Stephanie also loved reading and watching crime shows.
Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she always made sure her family had the best Christmas possible. Her generosity, thoughtfulness, and love for creating cherished holiday memories became a tradition she proudly passed on to her children.
A celebration of life is being planned for Stephanie at the Greenville Moose. More details to come.
