Lewis, Mary Lou, age 85, of Arcanum, passed away on September 1, 2026, at Hospice of Miami County in Troy, OH. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Dennis “Denny” Lewis; parents, George & Mary (Brussel) Heckman; brothers, Lawrence, Joe, Bill and Jim Heckman; sisters, Mildred Nieberding and Barb Heckman. Mary Lou worked at NCR, Arcanum Lanes bowling alley, Beechwood Golf Course as a waitress/cook and later went to work at The Brethrens Home until her retirement. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville, OH. She is survived by her son, Terry Lewis and many nephews and nieces. Visitation for Mary Lou will be on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at Kreitzer Funeral Home. We will then process to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville for a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on September 9, 2026.
