Daugherty, Betty, age 93, of Arcanum, OH, passed away on September 14, 2026, at the Brethrens Retirement Community in Greenville. She was born on Oct. 26, 1932, to the late Otis & Florence (Brickler) Cole. On Feb. 21, 1948, she was married her late husband Ronald G. Daugherty who passed on Nov. 16, 1991. Betty was a stay at home mom of 8 children, after the children were all grown up, she went to work at Sutton’s Supermarket for 35 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Daughery; parents, Otis & Florence Cole; and sons, Gary, Gale and Danny Daugherty. Betty loved her family and enjoyed having family get togethers. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Marten (Kevin); sons, Bob Daugherty (Mel), Larry Daugherty (Becky), Dean Daugherty (Ginny), David Daugherty (Melodie); daughters in law, Peggy Daugherty, Margaret Daugherty and Angie Daugherty; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Henson and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Visitation for Betty will be on September 18,2026, from 10-11 a.m. at KREITZER FUNERAL HOME 204 N. MAIN ST. ARCANUM, OH 45304.
