Anna Corrine “Connie” Boyd, age 86, of Greenville, Ohio, was called by name home by her Lord & Savior on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Ethel Voigt of Ansonia, Ohio. Connie married her high school sweetheart Marvin Boyd. They were together for 71 years and married for 68 of them. He preceded her in death in 2025.
Connie and Marvin raised 3 daughters, Bonnie (James) Doseck, Vicki Mayo, and LuAnn Brickler.
Her beloved grandchildren are Brandon (Ashley) Mayo, Bethany (Dan) Floyd, Brittany (Allen) Hodge, Stephanie (Simon) Troutwine, Jennifer (Kurtis) Whitesel, Heidi (Grant) Jones, Laine Brickler, and Ashley (Ben) Miller. Her cherished great grandchildren are Joseph, Athena, Asher, Grace, Ajax, Ezra, Eve, Oliver, Lexie, Lucas, Lilian, and Paul.
Connie was the middle child with Charles Voigt and Robert Voigt, both preceding her in death.
Connie retired from Fram Corporation after 30 years of service to be a full-time grandma which was her greatest love. Grandchildren were in and out of their home daily. She also worked many years at J.C. Pennys until their closing and worked at Rural King until 2020.
Connie served as a Sunday school teacher, superintendent, and co-leader over Vacation Bible School for the Ansonia Methodist Church. She has served and lived her life with Jesus at the forefront of everything.
Connie will be remembered for her patience and kindness while showing gentleness and love to all she met.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville, with burial to follow in Greenville Township Memorial Garden.
